Tim Gilbert, who joined Nine in 1996, is a highly experienced sports reporter, presenter and producer who has worked on virtually all of the Nine Network’s sports productions and many other programs.
He reads the sport report on many of Nine’s news bulletins and is well known to fans of the National Rugby League competition as a reporter and sideline eye. He is also a sports presenter and reporter on the TODAY.
Over the years, Gilbert has done feature stories for The Cricket Show and the Sunday Footy Show, along with many other flagship sports programs and live broadcasts on Nine, including golf’s US Open.
Reporting for the Nine Network has taken him around Australia and around the globe including his first Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Tim is part of the network’s strong news contingent and is a valued member of the news team.
