Dr Ric is the Director of IVF Australia and
TODAY's regular health expert. He spends his days supervising a busy IVF unit and running an obstetric practice at the Royal North Shore Hospital.
He trained in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Royal North Shore Hospital and at the Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. He furthered his training in London before coming back to Australia.
For the last seventeen years his area of expertise has been assisted reproductive technology such as IVF, ovulation induction, artificial insemination, female microsurgery and male related infertility.
He's quite the TV star, having co-hosted Good Medicine for five years.
His credentials include President of the Fertility Society of Australia and being on the organising committee for the World IVF Congress Sydney. He's also been the Australian Day Ambassador for the last three years in a row.
He is happily married with three children.
