After all the hoopla surrounding the world premiere and the interviews, finally the Twilight saga continues as New Moon hits the screens of the world.
So, what’s it like? Well, as I said on air this morning, there are people that will tell you it’s long and slow and a bit ponderous at times, and yes, there is a lot of Bella and Edward, and Bella and Jacob standing around sighing, crying, whispering and whimpering but hey, it’s a tortured love triangle between the human girl, a vampire and a werewolf. So, it’s never going to be plain sailing.
If you’re a fan of the whole Twilight thing then you’ve probably already seen the movie or planning your weekend around it. If you’re not a fan, then get out of the way and stop blocking the queue! The movie isn’t perfect, but it’s faithful to the book... I really quite enjoyed it. I’ve given it three and a half stars.
That’s it from me, tomorrow we bring you Michael Buble in concert, it’s going to be huge. Ill catch you then!

Good morning,
Australian doctors have performed some medical miracles over the years, and right now there's a team at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne who are doing everything they can to give a new chance of life to two adorable little girls, in the most complex operation ever performed in this country. The little girls are Trishna and Krishna, who were born joined together at the head - they're desperate to live normal lives and do what all the other kids their age do. This morning we spoke to Margaret Smith, from the charity the Children First Foundation, which looks after the twins - she's going to keep us up to date over the next couple of days on how the surgery goes. If you missed what she had to say, check out our website - I know all our viewers will be joining us in keeping our fingers crossed for those brave little girls.
You know how much everyone here at TODAY loves a bit of a song and dance - any excuse to get the feet moving. Well, this week we've got a real treat. The one and only Michael Buble is going to be performing a whole concert just for us on Friday morning - and you're all invited! Thousands of you entered our competition to have Breakfast with Buble - and our lucky winner was Liane Gill, from Peakhurst NSW. So at 5.30 on Friday morning the whole show is going to be rocking up to her neighbourhood, and bringing the sound of Michael Buble to the 'burbs. If you're in Sydney, then come along to the corner of Forest Road and Isaac Street bright and early, and join in the fun - there'll even be breakfast courtesy of our friends at Muffin Break. And if you can't make it in person, then tune in and watch the whole gig live!
That's not the only big news in the world of entertainment - in case you missed it, a little film called New Moon is out this week. The second in the Twilight series is set to be THE movie event of the year - and TODAY is the home of all things Twilight!. We'll have the first reviews, and all the excitement - don't miss it.
And, don't forget, we are giving away a whole stack of cash this week and next - the Great Cash Giveaway is back! A hundred grand is up for grabs - we've already had one delighted winner this morning who's got an extra $10,000 to spend on Christmas presents. Make sure you don't miss out on your chance to win - check out the website for all the details on how to register.
Finally, if you're into guessing games, we've got a teaser for you. Steve is heading overseas next week - he's planning to come live from 5 countries in 5 days. You'll have to keep watching each morning to see where he ends up...
Take care

It’s an exciting time in the entertainment business, with the year’s most anticipated movie, New moon out next week. We’ve been featuring the stars of the twilight saga on the show all week and getting a huge reaction, so I can only guess how big the movie is going to be when it hits the screens next Thursday.
Britney is in town and generating a bit of controversy. I haven’t seen the show for myself yet but I’m planning to pop along on Monday and have a look so I’ll be giving you my opinion next week on the show.
The ARIA awards are coming up in a couple of weeks, a fortnight from today in actual fact. It’s going to be a sensational celebration of Australian music with special guests Robbie Williams on board and Keith Urban opening the show. It’s also a big day for Keith in Nashville today where he’ll be collecting a few more trophies to put out in the pool room.
Out today the big budget disaster film, 2012 which is worth a look for the stunning special effects and CGI. And also the new Scottish film The Boys are Back, a real quality, emotional, father and son film from the director of Shine.
That's about it from me... Have a great morning. See you tomorrow morning from 5:30am.

Good morning everyone,
Tiger is in town - and you can't miss him. The biggest sporting star on the planet has come down under for the JB Were Masters golf tournament, which tees off on Thursday - and he's drawing crowds without even picking up a club. The Tiger phenomenon is truly extraordinary - not just his success on the course, but the staggering amount he makes from endorsements and sponsorships - he really is a one man industry. Tickets for the tournament in Melbourne have sold out - but you can book your grandstand seat with us! We'll be bringing the show live from Kingston Heath golf course on Thursday and Friday - the only place to see Tiger tee off live!
The other unstoppable phenomenon at the moment is Twilight - and fans around the world are howling for the release of New Moon next week. If you're not sure what all the fuss is about, the check out Richard's guide to the series so far, and interviews with Robert, Kristen, Taylor and the other stars on our website - I was a sceptic once, but now I've been bitten by the Twilight bug, I can't get enough of it (much to the amusement of my co-hosts...)
New Moon might be set to break all kinds of records at the box office - but TODAY will be in record breaking mode itself tomorrow. Steve Jacobs is going to see how many world records can get broken during his weather crosses - so make sure you tune in to see how he gets on (and if the Muffin Break muffin man manages to get into the record books too).
Also tomorrow, we'll be giving you all the details of how to enter the last Great Cash Giveaway of the year - we've had so many winners in 2009, and you could be one of them! Remember, we'll have $100,000 to give away over the course of two weeks - plenty to buy everyone you know a great Christmas present!
Take care,
Karl

Good morning everyone,
I don't know about you, but I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve right now - it's the day before the big race, and you can feel the excitement building already. Maybe it was spending the end of last week soaking up the Spring Racing atmosphere in Melbourne that's done it, but I've got a special feeling about this year's Melbourne Cup - I'm long overdue a win.
One man who's a better bet than most is Bart Cummings - the legendary Cups King is going for his hat-trick after his wins in the Cox Plate and the Caulfield Cup. He'll be sharing the secrets to his phenomenal success on the show tomorrow - you won't want to miss that. And that's just one part of our Cup coverage - we'll have all the latest news on the runners and riders from the track, and Emma Freedman's tips, and we'll be live from all over Australia as the nation puts on its racing finery and grinds to a halt. Plus, the surefire way to pick a winner - that could come in very handy.
Of course, the Melbourne Cup may stop the nation, but nothing stops TODAY - we've got plenty more for you coming up this week. Richard has his exclusive out on the road with Keith Urban - see him opening up about Nicole, Sunday Rose, the music, and his battles with addiction - part one of that tomorrow. And everyone's favourite globetrotter Michael Palin will be joining us later in the week.
If you're wondering who the lucky winner of our Breakfast with Buble competition is, then congratulations to Liane Gill, from Peakhurst in NSW. We'll be descending on her on Friday 20th November with the whole TODAY team for a special Michael Buble live concert - I hope she knows what she's let herself in for!
Take care - and good luck for whoever you pick in the Cup!
