Vanessa joins us live on TODAY for a chat and to perform her number one hit single 'This Is Who I Am'. Her new album 'Hazardous' will be available on the 6th November, 2009.
Vanessa is the first Australian artist to debut at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart since Kylie Minogue’s Two Hearts in 2007. After debuting at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart last week, This Is Who I Am holds the coveted top spot for a second consecutive week - becoming the first Australian artist to debut at #1 and hold #1 single since Silverchair’s Straight Lines in 2007.
In addition to this triumph This Is Who I Am this week achieved Gold sales in Australia.Vanessa Amorosi said; “To have my first ever #1 single is incredible. This Is Who I Am is the first single from her forthcoming album Hazardous which is set for release on November 6, 2009. Having sold in excess of two million albums worldwide Vanessa is set for a massive year ahead with the new album as well as setting out on tour in February 2010 as special guest for Rob Thomas.
