Sarah Harris

Sarah's journalism career began in 1997 at Channel Seven while she was still at high school, before she moved onto study Journalism and International Business at the Queensland University of Technology.

In 2001, Sarah joined Channel Nine Brisbane as a journalist and presenter for Nine's top-rating Extra and National Nine News.

She was appointed Today's Queensland's bureau chief in 2004, filing feature and breaking news stories from around the state, before returning to the newsroom full-time.

It was a busy three years for Sarah: she covered the aftermath of Cyclone Larry; the fallout of Steve Irwin's death; and the controversy which surrounded the Dr Haneef terror charges.

Sarah's other projects have included joining Richard Wilkins as a roving reporter for Nine's 47th Annual Logie Awards White Carpet coverage and co-presenting Nine's 2004 New Years Eve Fireworks Live Special.
